presents… Bethsaida (pts I & II)Hephzibah first graced The Furnace stage in our debut show back in January, wowing our audience with their unique blend of spoken word and cello soundscapes.
Since then, they have been working on a new project which they will showcase in our July show; Bethsaida (pts I &II). Hephzibah will be joined Jono Mcneil and a vocal-and-rhythm choir to present this musical exploration.
They explain the vibe thus:
“Bethsaida is a healing pool that is talked about in the Bible. An angel would come to the pool and stir up the waters producing healing power. We’re fascinated by this idea of the spiritual crossing into the physical and how that relates to our modern existence. That’s what Bethsaida explores.”
