The premise is simple: 1 piece, 2 microphones, 7 poets, 7 poems; flowing back to back on The Furnace stage.
The aim is thus: a changing-terrain journey of style and subject as each poet brings their own unique flavour, their own heart-danced words, feeding off each other, creating new moods, creating new lyrical pastures.
This is a step into the unknown for The Furnace - a step of faith that brings together 7 artists and gives them a stage to share - we hope the results will be both sweet and wonderful. Like poetry in motion.
